Future Income for the parents
Leadership for the next generation
Holding family members accountable
Design of the Exit Strategy
Fairness & equality for those family members in the business & those who are not
Stages of Succession

Who Should Attend?
Family Succession Retreats should be attended by all family members, (involved or uninvolved in the business) who have reached an age of maturity. In-laws are highly encouraged to attend.

How Long Does A Retreat Last?
The retreat should last two days. We will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. on the first day and finish about 5:00 p.m. The second day should also start at about 9:00 a.m. and wrap up mid-afternoon, depending on the individual circumstances of that particular family.

Where Should The Retreat Be Held?
The retreat should be held away from the business location. Many people choose a hotel or resort away from the work environment. It is important to have a time of relaxed introspection during the evening, accompanied by dinner with the family.
